Reduced width sockets
S1
S1 REDUCED WIDTH HEXAGON
The need for unification with other assembly screws sometimes makes it necessary to produce set screws with sockets of lower width in comparison with the standard.
For instance, a socket of 2.5 mm in an M6 set screw (the standard has a 3mm socket).

S2 REDUCED WIDTH HEXALOBULAR
The need for unification with other assembly screws sometimes makes it necessary to produce set screws with sockets of lower width in comparison with the standard.
For instance, a socket of 2.5 mm in an M6 set screw (the standard has a 3mm socket).
High locking torque sockets
S3
S3 HIGH LOCKING TORQUE HEXAGON
ARSER hexagonal and hexalobular sockets are already characterized, in the standard version, by performance and depth so as to make it possible to achieve better lock than any other screws present in the market. In any case, it is possible (depending on the length of the screw and type of material) to manufacture sockets of greater depth in order to increase the grip of wrenches and, therefore, the torsion limit. Another advantage of greater depth sockets is to reduce wear of screwers in case of serial assemblies.

Double sockets
S5
S5 HEXAGON DOUBLE
For special cases, in which it is necessary to access the screwing/unscrewing site from both sides, ARSER manufactures double sockets of diameters M5, M6 and M8, up to a length of 25 mm.
S6
S6 HEXALOBULAR DOUBLE
For special cases, in which it is necessary to access the screwing/unscrewing site from both sides, ARSER manufactures double sockets of diameters M5, M6 and M8, up to a length of 25 mm.
Hexalobular socket set screws DIN 34827
S7
S7 HEXALOBULAR SOCKET SET SCREWS DIN 34827
This type of socket improves the distribution of contact pressures exerted by the wrench in the socket (in comparison with normal hexagon sockets).
This type of socket should be opted for in the following cases: assembly with screwers (in order to reduce wear during insertion), repeated screwing, high lock torques, need to reduce the socket depth while the lock torque remains unchanged. For even more demanding automatic screwing requirements, it is possible to devise, on the basis of drawings provided by customers, SUPER HEXALOBULAR SOCKETS, with elliptic form instead of rounded ones.
Slotted socket set screws
S8
S8 SLOTTED SOCKET SET SCREWS
The slotted socket set screws as per standards are used for registration or for applications in which a low resistance is sufficient (14H, 22H, stainless steel).
ARSER also produces resistance classes greater than the norm standards. The ARSER slot is cut by tool, precise and of high-quality.
Cross-recessed H/Z
S9
S9 CROSS-RECESSED H
The Cross-recessed socket (UNI EN ISO 4757) is suitable for mechanically less demanding uses and is also employed for unification with other cross-recessed H and Z type screws in the same assembly group.
S10
S10 CROSS-RECESSED Z
The Cross-recessed socket (UNI EN ISO 4757) is suitable for mechanically less demanding uses and is also employed for unification with other cross-recessed H and Z type screws in the same assembly group.
Tamper proof sockets
S11
S11 SPECIAL PROFILE TAMPER PROOF
In order to prevent non-allowded or vandals from disassembling, ARSER has developed a technique to forge special profile sockets or screws with a pin in the middle of the socket (hexagonal or hexalobular).
Naturally, screws with these types of sockets can only be unscrewed by means of the corresponding special profile or holed keys, equipment of authorized operators.
S12
S12 HEXAGON TAMPER PROOF WITH PIN
In order to prevent non-allowded or vandals from disassembling, ARSER has developed a technique to forge special profile sockets or screws with a pin in the middle of the socket (hexagonal or hexalobular).
Naturally, screws with these types of sockets can only be unscrewed by means of the corresponding special profile or holed keys, equipment of authorized operators.
S13
